I have been tagged.

Tricia J. O'Brien tagged me, so now I shall surrender to these questions with my hands raised in the air, and then tag five other bloggers!

1) What's the last thing you wrote? What's the first thing you wrote that you still have?

I am currently working on my novel, titled Amber. To read more about Amber, scroll down, shift your eyes to the right of my blog, and read the rather long description under a Tiny Glimpse of Amber.

The first thing I ever wrote was a story titled, Miss Lady Bug. Miss Lady bug traveled through many magical lands in search of her Mr. Lady Bug. She found him in the end. I was around six when I wrote it and I still have it stashed away in my room.

2) Write poetry?

I have... I love poetry and wish that I was better at it.

3) Angsty poetry?

Definitely. However, that stays inside the pages of my personal journal, safe and sound.

4) Favorite genre of writing?

I am addicted to Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy.

5) Most annoying character you've ever created?

I love all of my characters, but to be fair, I must say my MC's father will rack your brain and continue on till you pull your hair out. Just don't get the wrong idea, there is more to him than meets the eye.

6) Best plot you've ever created?

I am currently working on it.

7) Coolest plot twist you've ever created?

I recently created a pretty sick (not deranged sick) plot twist that had me up till the darkest hours of the night, constantly heading back to the kitchen to refill my coffee mug. I take my coffee straight with only a tiny bit of soy milk, oh, and whip cream. How could I forget the whip cream, yum.

8) How often do you get writer's block?

Not often, rarely actually. My MC is a tough man to hush up.

9) Write fan fiction?

Never have and most probably never will. I am way to caught up in my own world.

10) Do you type or write by hand?

I prefer to type. However, in class when I should be taking notes or paying close attention to whatever the professor is going on about, I write by hand in whatever notebook I have with me that day. Then, when I get home, I am groaning the fact that I have to review whatever I missed.

11) Do you save everything you write?

Yes, I have different files for everything I write.

12) Do you ever go back to an idea after you've abandoned it?

Oh, this has happened many times.

13) What's your favorite thing you've ever written?

When I reached the age of eight or nine, everything I wrote was about my MC, so it's all pretty much a tie.

14) What's everyone else's favorite story you've written?

I once wrote this short story for my lovely best friend, Isuet. A lot of people seemed to like that one.

15) Ever written romance or angsty teen drama?

I write plenty of romance and teen drama. There is something about romance mixed with a teens first dilemmas in life that pull me in.

16) What's your favorite setting for your characters?

His comfort place, which is a lake close to his home.

17) How many writing projects are you working on right now?

My novel and a short story for my college's magazine, Cafe Cultura.

18) Have you ever won an award for your writing?

I have never won an award, but one of my poems, Sunny Girl, was published in a collection of poems by American league of poets. Another poem, Kathy, was published in my College's magazine.

19) What are your five favorite words?

I don't have a favorite word, but if I had to choose five...
Irrevocable. Possible. Whisper. Night. Strange.

They are simple, but there is a story behind each one of these words.

20) What character have you created that is most like yourself?

My MC's love interest, Amber.

21) Where do you get your ideas for your characters?

They come from many different places and people in my life, especially my home.

22) Do you ever write based on your dreams?

Sometimes, or I will take pieces from my dreams and play with them in my writing.

23) Do you favor happy endings?

I enjoy unexpected endings with a twist.

24) Are you concerned with spelling and grammar as you write?

If I come across a mistake, I fix it. I think every writer is somewhat concerned with their spelling or grammar.

25) Does music help you write?

I cannot write without listening to music, even when I blog. I am currently listening to Paramore, When It Rains.

26) Quote something you've written. Whatever pops in your head.

I think I will let Drake take it from here...

I suddenly understood Hamlet as if I was him, battling a never ending string of choices that hung way above my head, completely out of my reach.

What a gorgeous picture!

I'm glad I'm not a coffee drinker- that stuff would keep me up until all hours of the night! But with whipped cream it sounds pretty yummy!

Very interesting. Love that your MC is male and that his love interest is like you. I'd like to try writing a male MC someday. Loved #26.
